Oak, a broadleaf tree from the beech family, is a representative species used in a wide range of applications such as flooring, furniture, and whiskey barrels. In Europe, it is referred to as the "King of Forest." A distinctive striped pattern known as "tora" (tiger stripe) adds an accent to the grain's appearance. It creates a natural atmosphere, matches any space with its understated expression, and allows you to fully enjoy the natural wood grain and color changes over time while maintaining a sturdy hardness. We sell this popular species of oak through 'ALPEAT' and 'ALPEAT WIDE.' Using a 3mm solid veneer with heat-retaining coniferous wood underneath, it preserves the warmth, walking feel, and texture of wood while eliminating the disadvantages of solid flooring, such as warping and expansion, making it compatible with underfloor heating.
